Selling your watch outright vs selling with us on a consignment basis depends on whether price or speed is your priority.*
Bloombar Watches was founded in 2012, built on an old school and discreet approach to watch dealing where the relationship is paramount.
Our fantastic and highly experienced team, incorporating purchasing, sales, photography and import/export has allowed Bloombar to become one of the leading, fastest growing and most reliable luxury watch retailers in Europe.
Complete our short online form and upload a few clear photos. We’ll come back to you quickly with an initial offer, subject to inspection.
We can arrange secure, fully insured collection of your watch at no cost. Prefer to drop it off in person? You’re welcome to visit our Marylebone office by appointment.
Address:
102 Crawford Street, London W1H 2HR
(Moments from Baker Street, Marylebone & Edgware Road)
Once your watch arrives, our specialists inspect it the same day. Unless it’s brand new, we don’t expect perfection; minor polishing is included. If any work or parts are required, we’ll adjust the offer transparently at cost.
Once approved, payment is made the same day via bank transfer; unless otherwise agreed. If we can’t reach an agreement, your watch will be returned free of charge.
We will collect your watch, ensuring it’s fully insured at our cost (Limited to £40,000 value). Our skilled team will conduct a thorough inspection to ensure it’s in excellent working condition. Alternatively, you’re welcome to pop your watch into our central London offices.
If necessary and agreed by you, we’ll carry out a light polish for your watch at cost price. Any additional work required to get your watch to a saleable condition will be discussed with you and approved by you beforehand.
Your watch will be listed on bloombarwatches.com and other sales platforms such as Chrono24.co.uk and Watchfinder Marketplace. We also work closely with Private Banks, various sourcing and concierge companies and introducers. You’ll be kept up to speed every step of the process and we’ll work diligently to find a suitable buyer for your watch, as quickly as possible. If your watch remains unsold after 90 days, you have the option to take it back, or subject to its value, we’ll have it sent back to you. (Limited to £40,000 value)
Initially, your watch will be listed at the top end of the quoted price range. We will negotiate skilfully to maximise the selling price. We’ll also sell your watch with a new 24-month warranty if it’s not still covered by its manufacturer’s warranty.
If you wish to drop your watch into us instead of having it collected by courier, then our address is noted below. We work on an appointment only basis.

No. We buy watches of all ages and understand that not everyone can hold onto everything. If you have the original receipt and you want to include it with your watch, then that would be fantastic however, it’s not necessary and the price offered won’t be affected.
Whether you’re selling your watch via post or in person, we request that you bring with you or upload a copy of some photographic ID and a proof of address dated within the last 3 months.
We accept the following documents:
Mobile phone bills will not be accepted as a proof of address
We are fully aware that there are a few other companies in the luxury watch marketplace and it’s in our interest to make sure that you stick with us. By not having expensive Bond Street shops, we are able to pay that bit more for your watch over our competitors. Our prices offered on the most common watches are checked daily to make sure you get as much as possible. If you do receive a higher offer, we’ll usually match it if we can.
We always recommend that if you have the box and papers, you’ll receive up to 30% more for your watch as the papers or warranty card act as the provenance for your watch and most of them are irreplaceable once lost. Do your best to find them if you know where they are.
Of course! We have a lovely office located in London’s prestigious Marylebone and you’re more than welcome to pop in. As the office does get busy, we operate an ‘appointment only’ policy however, please feel free to pop down, have a drink on us and chat about watches. Before being watch dealers, we’re watch lovers and collectors, so we’re never bored of talking about the latest models and what we would love to buy next.
All payments are made by bank transfer. If your account is located in the UK, you can usually expect the funds to arrive within 2 hours. If your account is located outside of the UK, funds can take up to 72 hours to arrive. Proof of payment will always be provided upon request for peace of mind. All payments are subject to usual banking fraud checks and payments can take longer than usual at busy times of the day. We do not make cash payments.
Once your watch is received, either by post or in person, we quickly inspect it for condition and accuracy in front of you. We then make you a final offer based on our report and then pay you if accepted. Any work that does need to be carried out is calculated on a cost basis.
With every offer, we send you a watch sale information form for you to fill and enclose with your watch if you do decide to send it in. We always recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery and if you’re located within the M25, we do also offer a free, same-day collection service for high-value watches. Please do make sure that your watch is safely bubble wrapped to avoid any damage in transit and please upload the tracking number to your Bloombar Watches account as soon as you have it.
We are on hand 10am-5pm, Monday to Friday. You can usually expect a valuation from us within a couple of hours however, the office can get busy, so if the sale is urgent, best to give us a call on 0207 458 4544.
