Rolex Zenith Daytona 16520 'Patrizzi Dial'
£45,000
Presented in very good condition is this exceptional example of a 1998 Rolex Zenith Daytona 16520. This particular timepiece is one of the finest kept examples we have encountered, boasting incredibly sharp edges and a case back that remains stickered. The watch features a 40mm stainless steel case, stainless steel bezel, black dial with tritium indices and is coupled to a stainless steel Oyster bracelet. Having been professionally tested for condition and accuracy, it’s deemed to be running well and is showing only very minimal handling marks, remaining in an amazing state of preservation.
Widely regarded as the “Zenith” Daytona due to its modified El Primero-based movement, this 16520 is a highly coveted “Patrizzi” dial variant. This rare phenomenon is characterized by the organic oxidation of the silver tracks on the chronograph sub-dials, which have matured into a unique, warm brownish hue. The remarkable preservation of the case and the presence of the original case back sticker make this an absolute standout for any serious collector.
The watch is supplied with its outer box, inner presentation case, green card holder, manual, and warranty certificate dated 1998.
The watch will be sold with our 24-month warranty from date of sale (Terms & Conditions apply).
