Presented in excellent condition is this exceptional example of a 2003 Rolex Submariner Date 16610LV Kermit. The watch features a 40mm stainless steel case, stainless steel bezel with a green insert, black dial with luminous indices and is coupled to a stainless steel Oyster bracelet. Having been professionally tested for condition and accuracy, it’s deemed to be running well and is showing barely any signs of wear. Appearing to be unpolished, the watch retains its incredibly sharp edges and factory-crisp case lines.
This highly collectible F-serial reference 16610 marks the 50th anniversary of the Submariner line, affectionately known as the ‘Kermit’. As an initial production variant, it features the exceedingly rare and coveted “Flat 4” green aluminium bezel insert, where the inner serif of the number four is flat rather than pointed. This premium detail is perfectly complemented by the pristine ‘Maxi’ dial, which introduces larger luminous hour markers and hands for enhanced legibility. Beneath its rugged exterior lies the automatic Calibre 3135 movement, legendary for its peerless reliability.
