This special example of a 2019 Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39 114300 has been customised by Hercules Watch Co. The watch features a 39mm stainless steel case, red grape dial and is coupled to a stainless steel Oyster bracelet. The ‘King of Kings 3’ has taken several months in production and bears various religious references to Jesus Christ.
1) The grape dial, synonymous with Jesus first miracle of changing water into wine.
2) The 12 red dots at the end of each baton on the dial, representing the 12 disciples of Jesus.
3) There are 3 Crowns (representing the Trinity) on the watch. One on the dial, one on the clasp of the bracelet and one on the crown.
4) There are 7 crosses on the watch. 3 each on both sides of the bracelet and one on the side of the case, opposite to the button.
5) The bezel of the watch is adorned with a crown of thorns.
6) The case is engraved with vine leaves and grapes.
7) The bracelet has 12 links, 8 of which are also adorned with vine leaves and grapes.
8) The clasp is engraved with a wooden cross – with a crown in the centre.
9) The famous notice that Pontius Pilot had nailed above Jesus on the cross – INRI.
10) Portrayal of Jesus with the Crown of thorns on the case back.
