Presented in excellent condition is this exquisite example of a 2023 Patek Philippe World Time 5330G-010 Tokyo Edition. The watch features a 40mm white gold case, smooth white gold bezel, plum purple dial with hand-guilloché patterning, a red rising sun detail on the 24-hour disk, and white gold applied baton hour markers, and is coupled to a black alligator leather strap featuring vibrant purple stitching and a white gold Calatrava cross fold-over clasp. Having been professionally tested for condition and accuracy, it’s deemed to be running perfectly and is showing barely any signs of wear.
Launched exclusively for the Japanese market at the 2023 Watch Art Grand Exhibition in Tokyo, the reference 5330G-010 is an incredibly prestigious limited edition of just 300 pieces worldwide. It represents a major horological milestone as Patek Philippe’s first-ever World Time watch to integrate a date function that automatically adjusts both forward and backward to match the local time zone selected at 12 o’clock. This complicated feat is managed by a revolutionary central date hand made from transparent glass with a distinct red-lacquered tip. Powering this mechanical masterpiece is the ultra-thin automatic Calibre 240 HU C, a micro-rotor movement beautifully displayed through an exhibition caseback that bears the Tokyo 2023 commemorative logo.
The watch is supplied with its outer presentation sleeve, heavy wooden inner presentation case, leather document wallet, manual booklet, setting stylus and warranty certificate dated 2023.
