Presented in very good condition is this iconic example of a 2007 Patek Philippe Aquanaut reference 5066A-001. The watch features a 36mm stainless steel case, smooth rounded octagonal stainless steel bezel, black embossed dial with luminous Arabic numerals and indices and a date display at 3 o’clock, and is coupled to a black Tropical composite rubber strap. Having been professionally tested for condition and accuracy, it’s deemed to be running well and is showing minor signs of wear.
Representing one of the most celebrated neo-vintage references from Patek Philippe, the ‘Mid-Size’ 5066A-001 retains the versatile 36mm proportions and signature waffle-pattern dial of the original Aquanaut design launched in 1997. Unlike its solid-back predecessor (ref. 5060A), the 5066 features a sapphire crystal exhibition case back, offering a clear view of the beautifully hand-finished movement. Powering this timepiece is the automatic Calibre 330 S C movement, celebrated for its exquisite craftsmanship, Geneva Seal finishing, and reliable performance.
The watch is supplied with its outer box, inner wooden presentation case, leather wallet, instruction manual, collector booklets, cloth box cover, additional rubber straps, and Certificate of Origin dated 2007.
