£8,950
Presented in very good condition is this exceptional example of a 1970s Heuer Autavia Chronograph 1163 TBL ‘Viceroy’. The watch features a 42mm stainless steel case, black tachymeter bezel, black reverse-panda dial with white sub-dials, red-accented hands and indices, date window at 6 o’clock, and is coupled to a black perforated leather strap with red stitching and Heuer buckle. Having been professionally tested for condition and accuracy, it’s deemed to be running well and is showing light signs of wear, preserving its original case back sticker alongside light surface marks on the acrylic crystal.
Born from a landmark 1972 promotion between Heuer and the Viceroy cigarette brand, reference 1163 TBL features a distinctively sporty layout powered by the groundbreaking Calibre 11 automatic chronograph movement. This example represents an extraordinary collector’s time capsule, preserved in near new-old-stock condition across the case and dial, and includes its original vintage Heuer Corfam strap supplied alongside.
The watch is supplied with its original guarantee certificate dated 1972 and additional original Heuer leather strap.
Due to its age, the watch is no longer suitable to be used in wet environments or submerged in water. The watch might not be running within expected tolerances for TAG Heuer timekeeping.
The watch will be sold with our 24-month limited warranty from date of sale (Terms & Conditions apply).
