Bremont Broadsword-R-S
£3,000
Presented in excellent condition is this distinguished example of the Bremont Broadsword HMAF. The watch features a 40mm stainless steel case, matte black military dial signed “BREMONT HMAF,” with luminous Arabic numerals, small seconds at 6 o’clock and a date display at 3 o’clock. It is fitted to an olive green military-style fabric strap that reinforces its utilitarian field watch aesthetic.
Having been professionally tested for condition and accuracy, the watch is deemed to be running very well and is showing only light signs of wear.
Previously owned by the acclaimed British portrait artist Alexander Talbot-Rice, celebrated for his portraits of Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke of Edinburgh and King Charles III. A classically trained artist, he also served as an official British Army war artist in Afghanistan, making this watch a piece with distinguished provenance.
Originally created in collaboration with the British Ministry of Defence, the Broadsword is inspired by the historic “Dirty Dozen” field watches issued to British servicemen during the Second World War. It combines classic military design cues with modern Swiss automatic chronometer-grade performance, offering reliability, legibility and durability in all conditions.
The watch is supplied with its original presentation box, warranty card and accompanying accessories (subject to inventory).
The watch will be sold with our 24-month warranty from the date of sale (Terms & Conditions apply).
