Presented in very good condition is this robust example of a Panerai Luminor 1950 8 Days PAM00311. The watch features a 44mm titanium case, titanium bezel, brown dial with luminous indices and numerals and is coupled to a brown distressed leather strap. Having been professionally tested for condition and accuracy, it’s deemed to be running perfectly and is showing minor signs of wear.

The dial of this PAM00311 is a clear example of functional design, featuring a linear 8-day power reserve indicator, a second time zone via the GMT hand with an AM/PM indicator integrated into the small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock. This is powered by the manual winding Calibre P.2004, which also provides a sophisticated monopulsante chronograph, operated by a single pusher at 8 o’clock.

This outstanding example of a 1973 Rolex GMT-Master 1675 “Blueberry” features a 40mm stainless steel case, ultra-rare blue “Blueberry” bezel insert, matte black dial with tritium indices and is coupled to a stainless steel Oyster bracelet. Having been professionally tested for condition and accuracy, it’s deemed to be running well and is showing minor signs of wear considering its age.

The most widely accepted explanation is that the solid blue bezel was never a standard factory option for retail. Instead, it is believed these were produced in the 1970s as official Rolex service replacement parts. They were often fitted by Rolex Service Centers (RSCs) for customers who preferred a monochromatic look or were unhappy with how the original “Pepsi” bezels had faded.
